Who we are
Nerdster Design is a UK design and build studio. For any privacy question, contact us at mail@nerdster.design. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide. When you browse the site with analytics consent, we collect anonymised usage data (pages viewed, device, approximate location) to understand and improve the site.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used solely to respond to you and discuss working together. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the site and our marketing. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it except with the processors below who help us run the service.
Processors we use
- Web3Forms — delivers enquiry form submissions to our inbox.
- Google Analytics 4 & Google Ads — measurement and advertising (only with your consent; see our Cookie Policy).
- Umami — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics.
Legal basis
We process enquiry data on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Analytics and advertising cookies are processed only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email mail@nerdster.design. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, then delete it.
