How much does web design cost in the UK?
Our Starter Site is £999 inc VAT for five pages, a clear enquiry path and a website assistant trained on your business. The Business Site is £1,500 to £2,500 inc VAT for 8 to 12 pages and includes the copywriting, a proper product or service structure and full SEO setup. E-commerce, web apps and custom integrations are quoted up front. Every price is fixed and agreed before we start.
How long does a website take to design and build?
A Starter Site goes live within 2 to 3 weeks. A Business Site takes 3 to 4 weeks because we interview you, write the copy and build the larger structure. You approve the design before we build, and larger e-commerce, web-app and mobile projects get a dated plan before any money changes hands.
What is included in the Starter Site?
Five designed pages, mobile-first build, a contact form with conversion tracking, core on-page SEO and a website assistant trained on your approved business information. You provide the core facts, logo and approved imagery, and one round of revisions is included. You own the design, code and content at the end.
What is included in the Business Site?
Eight to twelve designed pages, with the copy written for you from a short interview rather than left as a blank document. A proper product or service structure, brand direction covering type, colour and imagery, full on-page SEO setup and Google Business Profile, conversion tracking wired to real enquiries, and two rounds of revisions. You own the design, the code and the content at the end.
Do you offer ongoing website maintenance?
Yes — the Care Plan is £70 a month, rolling. It covers managed UK hosting and SSL, daily backups, software updates, uptime and performance monitoring, up to 30 minutes of content edits a month and priority support. It is optional on any build and you can stop it whenever you like.
Will my website work on phones?
Yes — we design mobile-first, because most UK visitors arrive on a phone. Every page is tested on real devices before launch, and speed scores are checked so it loads fast on 4G, not just office wi-fi.
Will my new website show up on Google?
Every site ships with clean structure, fast pages, meta titles and descriptions, and a sitemap submitted to Google — the foundations rankings are built on. If you want to actively climb rankings, our SEO & AI Search service takes over from there.
